Cactus Technologies, Ltd. joins SD Association and Launches 800 Series Industrial SD Cards

Cactus Technologies, Ltd. today announced they have joined the SD Association (www.sdcard.org) and launched a new 800 Series Industrial SD Cards which support the SDHC interface. The SDHC interface support will allow the 800 Series products to have a capacity range of 128Mbytes to 8Gbytes at the time of launch. As with all of the Cactus Technologies products, there is no compromise on the Industrial feature set – maximum reliability, ruggedness and quality are built in.

Cactus Technologies, Ltd. today announced the launch of a new family of Industrial Disk On Module (DOM) products in both 40 and 44 pin versions. The DOM products are meant to satisfy the needs of Industrial OEM customers that want a very small form factor product for embedded applications having either a 40 or 44 pin IDE connector. The DOM emulates a hard disk drive so additional host changes are not required.
