The Cactus Technologies 245S Series OEM Grade M.2 (also known as NGFF – Next Generation Form Factor), 2260 (22mm x 60mm) form factor is available in capacities up to 128 GBytes and is a solid-state flash memory product that adheres to the SATA-IO group’s specifications. Based on Pseudo-SLC NAND, it is intended for OEM applications needing a cost effective part with high performance SATA III interface.
OEM Grade pSLC M.2 2260 have >6 times more endurance cycles than Commercial Grade products based on MLC NAND. Pseudo-SLC products should be used in applications which require better endurance, error rates and data retention than the Commercial Grade MLC M.2 SSD. The 245S Series M.2 2260 comes with full BOM Control and is built with Stringent Quality Processes. Cactus Technologies incorporates World Class ECC, Wear Leveling and Defect Management into the 245S Series M.2, making it the most reliable pSLC based M.2 on the market. Custom Labeling, Custom ID and Preloaded Content are available based on customer requirements (see Custom Features).
