Cactus Technologies, Ltd. Launches OEM Standard Grade Series in SD Card and 2.5” SATA SSD Form Factors
Cactus Technologies, Ltd. today announced the launch of an OEM Standard Grade Series of products directed toward customers that need BOM control and Long Life Cycles without high endurance cycles. The OEM Standard Grade products will initially be available in the MLC SD Card and MLC 2.5” SATA Solid State Drive form factors.
Sai-Ying Ng, President of Cactus Technologies Ltd. commented, “There is a requirement by a portion of the OEM market for flash storage devices that do not have a need for high endurance cycles, but do need Bill Of Material control and long life cycles. For this reason we are introducing the OEM Standard Grade product Series.”
The Cactus Technologies Commerical Grade offers the following features:
- Industry Standard MLC SD Card and MLC SATA SSD form factors
- Bill-Of-Material Control
- Long Life Cycles
- 100K endurance cycles per block
- Altitude spec of 100,000 feet
- Powerful ECC and Defect Management
- 200K Hour Mean Time Between Failure
- Based on MLC (Multi Level Cell) NAND Memory
