
The Cactus Technologies 240S Series Commercial Grade CFast Memory Card is a 15nm MLC NAND based solid-state flash memory device that complies with the CompactFlash Association standard in the CFast Type I form factor. It is available in capacities from 4GBytes to 256GBytes and intended for OEM applications needing a cost effective part with high performance SATA interface.
The 240S Series CFast comes with full BOM Control and is built with Stringent Quality Processes. Cactus Technologies incorporates World Class ECC, Wear Leveling and Defect Management into the 240S Series CFast, making it a very reliable MLC based CFast. Custom Labeling, Custom ID and Preloaded Content are available based on customer requirements (see Custom Features).

240S Series Physical Write Protect Switch CFast

Cactus Commercial Grade 240S CFast cards are available with a Physical Write Protect Switch (-WP1 suffix) option.
When the switch on the bottom rail of the CFast is in the disabled postion the card can be read and written to normally. However, when the write protect switch is enabled, the card can only be read - any writes are not processed.
