The Cactus Technologies Industrial pSLC 295S Series High-Performance, High-Endurance, CFast ranges in capacity from 16GB to 256GB. It is a CFast Type 1 form factor compliant with Serial ATA 3.4 specifications and is ATA-8 ACS2 command set compatible. It supports Serial ATA Generation I/II transfer rate of 1.5/3.0/6.0 Gbps and the ATA SMART Feature set.
Based on the highest quality and reliability of Industrial 3D BICS5 NAND used in the pSLC Mode, which offers over 6 times the endurance of Industrial MLC NAND, and is intended for OEM and Industrial systems requiring high reliability over many years of field use. The cards are packaged in the rugged CFast housing to avoid physical damage and environmental contamination.
It uses LDPC error correction with enhanced error correction, < 1 error in 10^14 bits read.
The 295S Series CFast has complete BOM Control and is built with Stringent Quality Processes. Cactus Technologies incorporates World Class ECC, Wear Leveling, and Defect Management into the 295S Series CFast, making it the market's most reliable Industrial 3D BISC5 NAND in pSLC Mode CFast. Custom Labeling, Custom ID, and Preloaded Content are available based on customer requirements (see Custom Features).
