The Cactus Technologies 240S Series Commercial Grade M.2 (also known as NGFF – Next Generation Form Factor) in the 2260 form factor (22mm x 60mm) and 2280 (22mm x 80mm), available in capacities up to 256 Gbytes, is a solid-state flash memory product that adheres to the SATA-IO group’s specifications. Based on MLC NAND, it is intended for OEM applications needing a cost effective part with high performance SATA interface.
The 240S Series M.2 2260 & 2280 come with full BOM Control and are built with Stringent Quality Processes. Cactus Technologies incorporates World Class ECC, Wear Leveling and Defect Management into the 240S Series M.2, making it the most reliable MLC based M.2 on the market. Custom Labeling, Custom ID and Preloaded Content are available based on customer requirements (see Custom Features).
