The Cactus Technologies OEM Standard Grade SD Memory Card, available in capacities up to 16 Gbytes, is a solid-state flash memory product that complies with the SD Association standard. It is intended for OEM applications that will NOT write the entire card >100K times or require a full extended temperature range of -45C to +90C due to the MLC NAND limitations. Cactus does NOT recommend its OEM Standard Grade SD Card or any other MLC NAND based products for applications running the operating system from the flash storage.

The OEM Standard Grade SD Card is however the lowest cost solution and comes with full BOM Control, Longer Life Cycles and is built with more Stringent Quality Processes than traditional MLC NAND based cards in the market.  Cactus Technologies incorporates ECC, Wear Leveling and Defect Management into this card to make it the most reliable MLC device available. Custom Labeling, Custom ID and Preloaded Content are available based on customer requirements.
