Cactus Technologies, Ltd. Launches 303 Pro Series Industrial Grade CompactFlash with Write Protect Switch —— Sept 18, 2009

HONG KONG —— Sept 18, 2009 —— Cactus Technologies, Ltd. today announced they have launched a 303 Pro Series Industrial Grade CompactFlash card with a physical write protect switch. When the switch is in the write protect position, no writes to the CompactFlash will be allowed ensuring there will be no data overwritten or corrupted.

“This write protect switch offering in our 303 Pro Series CompactFlash cards offers customers the ability to physically stop writes to the card. The alternative to this hardware feature is a software write protect command, which gives no visual indication of setting position.” said Sai-Ying Ng, President of Cactus Technologies Ltd.
